The sultry haze of summer has lifted…just in the nick of time. I can’t remember a more pleasant couple of days bringing a well-timed respite to the hot and sticky few weeks we’ve endured. I took advantage of the bright, clear Carolina blue skies and I have a passle of pictures to show for it. If you’re here, you know what I’m talking about. If not, enjoy Southport at its finest hour. If you like red, white, and blue…funnel cakes, bloomin’ onions, dance music, and an all around old-fashioned good time, it’s not too late. Come on down. The parade and fireworks are still to come.
